Marilyn Wendling

About the artist

Marilyn's zest for life and exuberance are evident in her Alla Prima works in oil. Her command of light and color harmony takes place using a very limited palette.  She has studied with Scott Christiansen, Ken Backhaus and the late Ken Auster, to name a few.  Marilyn's passion is translated into her sought after works which she exhibits in local and regional shows, juried competitions and in fine art galleries.

In 2009 Marilyn had the distinguished honor of having one of her paintings placed into the "Permanent Collection" of the Tennessee State Museum and on display in the Tennessee Governor's Residence.
